When I read how King Belshazzar reacted to the handwriting on the wall, it made me think about how I would react if I see something supernatural as well. I should have the same reaction, not necessarily to unexplainable things like the writing or to react out of fear, but out of awe and reverence at how great our God is.
Everything that may seem unexplainable can be somewhat understood, and that's definitely by God's anointing and your own spiritual foundation in the Word. That's how Daniel has the gift to explain prophecies. Seeing this prophecy-telling in action in this time is pretty cool too. I remember that my prophecy was spoken to me by an acquaintance's sister. She said that "God is waiting for me to draw closer to Him, He's waiting to show me how much He loves me".... something along the lines of that haha
Daniel's response to the king about the gifts are also a simple reflection of a trait that we need to have as well: doing things out of the goodness of your heart and not for gains, or even having those gains be given to someone who needs it more. Sometimes I struggle with this myself, probably because I hold on to material value too dearly.
