Our God is a compassionate God. He gives strength and endurance to those who are in pain and suffering. He will not let His children suffer under those who oppresses them.
Reading this passage was slightly frightening as it describes how the evil will be punished by the Lord, but our God is great and just.
I discussed this with a friend to confirm my thoughts. Truly all unreached people will fall under God's wrath when He comes back. Some individuals may think that it's not fair because not all unreached people unwillingly reject the Gospel, they simply may not have had the opportunity to hear of it. However, the world around us and creation should already show God's majesty and power, and in turn show that a God exists. Therefore, even if these people haven't verbally heard of the Gospel and of the Lord, they should be still able to see and realize that the Lord of all creation exists.
